Bill Bogaardt & The Brothers Bogaardt are Canadian award-winning Singer/Songwriters, and started their musical careers in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1957.
Bill, as the founder of the group states; " Our musical career spanned the period from 1957 to 1978, and all our musical accomplishments have always been attributed to our home town, Edmonton".
"We thank the many businesses and entertainment venues who hired us, promoted us through Radio and Television appearances, concerts and private club performences since these business people are the real heroes who supported us throughout those years.
We also thank all the reporters from Radio stations and TV hosts who reviewed our group of brothers with their press reviews from all over Canada".
Originally from Java, Indonesia, and The Netherlands, they now live in British Columbia, Canada.
Originality and innovative pop songs is where Bill and his brothers, Ben, Rick and Archie shine with their close harmonies. Versatile, they are influenced by Pop, R'n'B, Soft Rock, and melodic love melodies which sets them apart in their own unique style.
Tragedy struck in 2009, when their oldest brother Ben lost his fight with cancer.
After a 6 year absence, Bill, Rick and Archie, decided to re-vitalize their passion for making music and started recording in the family tradition of making music, including music written by their oldest brother Ben.
They released an album in 2016, honouring and remembering their oldest brother Ben, for his contribution to the group, and the album features one of Ben's original songs, entitled; "One More Road".
The album is called: "Unfinished Business - 2016"
Today, the remaining brothers continue to create, write and record their original songs, as part of their passion for music.
The Brothers Bogaardt have toured across Canada, parts of the U.S. and Europe.
Their songs were featured in a documentary film which won the Gold Camera award in Chicago, Illinois in the 70's.
Bill also received an award for his musical compositions for "Time of the Tarsands", with Canadian actor, Gordon Pinsent.
Today, Bill, Rick and Archie are busy recording new material, and continuing to create new ideas.
